After completing a degree in Audio Engineering Technology from Belmont University Liv worked at many renowned studios such as Oceanway, RCA, Welcome To 1979, and East Iris Studios. Liv was the first female House Engineer at Rick Rubins Shangri La Studios. She is currently working as a House Engineer for Universal Music Group.
